My simple belief is: exceptional care is about more than just skill - it’s about trust, understanding and honoring the incredible bond shared with dogs…..even if they occasionally insist on being the boss!

My connection to animals has always been instinctive - something I felt, rather than learned. As a child, while I was limited to pocket pets and cats, my heart was set on dogs and horses. My connection to animals has always been instinctive - something I felt, rather than learned. As a child, while I was limited to pocket pets and cats, my heart was set on dogs and horses. Some of my early memories are of my grandparents poodles.I must have been a dog in my past life because I’ve been told that I would bark along with them at the tollbooth guy. Don’t judge, I was maybe five years old!
I also found every possible way to be around horses. From pony rides at the Cape to years of lessons and showing, they became my reason to live.
Any animal I could be around I would try and pet or care for in some way. I helped my grandfather feed a bay bird, I’ve picked up cats I probably shouldn’t have, I’ve even brushed cows like you would a horse!
When I entered the military, I had to sell my first horse. In an effort to soften that loss, my mother gave me a Golden Retriever. That ”peace offering” was my constant companion and showed a new type of love.
That lifelong passion naturally grew into a career. For over 20 years, I’ve worked as a veterinary technician in general practice for both large and small animals, shelter medicine and ER. This experience allows me to bring both clinical expertise and a calm, intuitive approach to every animal I work with.

My journey began in 1996 with training in Canine Trigger Point Myotherapy through the Equi Myo program. I returned in 1997 to continue my education in Equine Trigger Point Myotherapy. I’ve accrued over 200 hours of focused education in anatomy, physiology and hands on technique.

Trigger Point Myoytherapy is a non invasive, hands on treatment used to improve circulation, coordination, reduce inflammation and improve range of motion. Massage techniques are used including ischemic pressure at tight spots indicated by knots or fascia twitching. Specific range of motion stretches and other exercises are taught for you to do at home in between sessions.

Pet Sitting
I offer in home pet and farm sitting in the areas of Monson, Wilbraham, Palmer, Brimfield and Sturbridge. Please inquire if you don’t see your town listed. I am available for daily/weekly or vacation visits. With my background I am skilled at getting the pickiest dog to eat, can give oral or injectable medications and have a trained eye to notice any issues with your pets health.
